Eddie Flake was born in Santa Clara, California. At an early age, Eddie was highly interested in music. While in middle school and high school he was active in band. He also sang in the church choir.
It was at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado where he began to emcee. Eddie became known as "E-Dubb" at gigs and local parties where he performed as a rapper. After transferring to the University of Hawaii, Eddie B. began to hone in on his lyrical and performing potential by producing his own mixtape and compiling a lyrical library of work ready to be recorded. His mixtape gained the attention of recording company Tiki Entertainment, but Eddie chose to continue pursuing his education and instead accepted to work for radio station 102.3 Da Bomb and was given his own radio show. These opportunities were the culmination of his early education in music, and finally Eddie was ready to enter the music industry.
In 2003, Eddie, now calling himself Eddie Beatz or Eddie B., went into production for himself. In 2005, Eddie B. made a big move to Orlando, FL. where he studied recording arts from Full Sail University. Eddie B. made sure to be at all of the major hotspots in his spare time to promote himself and gain more contacts. After one year his degree was completed and he moved to Los Angeles. In 2007, Eddie B. began doing television production where he participated in ten different reality shows including I Love New York 2, A Shot at Love, I Want to Work for Diddy, Miss Rap Supreme, Top Design, Beauty and The Geek, Click, College Hill, Gold Diggers as a production assistant. As an audience coordinator he worked in Hole in the Wall, Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed, and Bingo America. To add he appeared in television shows and movies as extras and actors with small roles. These televisions include Hell Date, Next, and Max Mistress. The movies he appeared in include Along Came Polly (2003), Blue (2007), Who Shot Mamba (2007), Gods of Circumstances (2007), and Friday Night at the DeWayne's (2007)..
Eddie Flake is an American actor, writer, producer and director currently living in Los Angeles, CA. He began his career in entertainment as a music producer as Eddie Muzik. He has written and created many successful tracks, but has decided that film and television are his true passion and focus. He attended the famous Full Sail University in Orlando and the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.
He is currently working with his writing/production/acting partner, Casey Printers on a major ongoing web series project titled Kode Orange. Kode Orange is an exciting new original series follows the lives of two police officers who join a special unit in high-crime LA. It is the first of its kind to feature lead African-American male actors.
